Located in Copenhagen’s harbour, House of Peace will provide a friendly and spectacular welcome. Through its soft ebb and flow, the water will convey peace.

House of Peace will be centrally located in the district of Nordhavn (North Harbour), which is in development as a huge, new urban part of Copenhagen. The cloud-shaped structure will appear as though it were floating between the water and the sky. Erected in the harbour of Copenhagen, the building, with its striking location next to UN City, will be the first sight on approaching Copenhagen’s harbour by sea.

​The self-governing institution HOPE has a formal approval of the location from CPH City & Port Development. In the proposal for the local development plan for the North Harbour area, a construction site has been allocated for the HOPE project.

From industry to residential area
Nordhavn is located three kilometres from the centre of Copenhagen and is one of the city’s highest profiled urban development projects. This will be one of the first areas of Copenhagen that visitors will see when entering the capital by sea.
